For a variety of reasons, this recording seems to be an accumulation of mishaps. Tape stock, though usually reliable, was variable, and the beginning of the first set suffered badly from digital mis-tracking – still audible in the portion of the opening track offered here for the sake of completeness. The last track of the night stopped abruptly, so the tape must have run out. What remains is valiantly presented here.
